First D40x pictures

My husband gave me a new camera (Nikon D40x) for my birthday this winter. The first day I got it, I went for a walk downtown on my lunch break to try it out. Here’s some of the shots I got. I like how vivid the colors are. Much better than my point-and-shoot gets, that’s for sure.

New Blog

I decided to start a new blog to keep track of some of my photographs.  I  got a Nikon D40x digital SLR camera for my birthday this year and I’ve been trying to work on getting better at using it.
